Phoenix Alliance - [PA]  The Alliance itself is somewhat of an anomaly in current politics. While most organizations inevitably come into conflict with another, this one has managed to remain mostly neutral (or better) to everyone. This comes as a surprise to political analysts, who cite intense UIT influences and a common need to survive as the major catalysts; whatever the reasoning, PA is one of the only entities who has managed to develop sufficient relations with most everyone, from Serco and Itani nationalists to the local pirates and vigilantes. However, they have also been known to be fiercely isolationist and protective of their own; while Alliance representatives are usually hesitant to involve PA in outside conflicts (such as warfare between two rival guilds), Alliance forces will readily (and sometimes violently) move to protect and defend one of their constituents. PA vessels today can be seen performing a variety of tasks, from hunting and destroying Hive infestations to taking part in intensive economic projects. Although Alliance ships seldom enter the domains of the major nations, they will do so under certain (and mostly monetary) circumstances. No reports of criminal activity from Alliance vessels have been confirmed.
