Hello to all my fellow citizens (die serco scum die :) )

I noticed you haven't had a Deneb Run for about 5 years now ?!?!?! The last record I can find is Deneb Run #128 on Aug 02, 2008. I might be wrong, please feel free to correct me if I am.

Since this is free play week I thought it might be a good idea to have a race this weekend. The standard time is Saturday at "4PM Eastern Standard Time, 1PM Pacific, 9PM UTC (Or 21:00)"

I don't want to hoist, I want to run the race. But I will host and or sponsor the race if needed. I'm willing to contribute 10 million c to the event. (that is most of my current net worth)

So let me know what you think of having the race this Saturday 12/28/2013. I plan to use the standard rules. But any input on new rules or a different time would be welcome.

the turrets in nation space make it prohibitive, a corporate run would probably work though

@CrazySpence please explain what you mean. Isn't the point to see if you can get through territory that doesn't like you?

Btw I'm like my all factions and I'm sure other players still are.

the current existing turrets will almost certainly annihilate any Itani by or exiting sol II and then the ones around Itan will do the same to Serco, people can make it in or out at times but odds are whoever Is UIT will just win by default

understood @CrazySpence. I guess i know now why the Deneb run hasn't been run in years. I need to check out the turrets and a universe map in game :(

There was at least one more recently than 2008. I worked up Serco standing on ARF_01 in order to compete in it.

Really though, the turrets do make the old Deneb run less fun than it should be.

Make the prize really big, and limit it to characters hated by at least serco or itani. Then I'll join in :)

I don't think any Itani or serco could win. The Corp Sectors Run might be a better idea.
But we need someone to host it and pony up the prize money
