A funny Nation War. There was no grey team this week as no home KOS showed up. Though there were a few backstabbers who thought it was funny to shoot their own teammates, the
real participants managed to swipe away these minions quickly. A single UIT pilot managed to take the pot.

Rules:
No camping beyond the asteroid field.
No leaving the sector.
Once you are shot down, you are out. You may only return to observe in an unarmed EC-class ship.
No "pre-mining" the sector, meaning to lay mines before the start Signal was given.
Potential fighters MUST be on time in order to participate.
Most ships and all weapons are allowed.
If two or more teams can promise tridents, they will be permitted.
If you wish to spectate, you most observe in an unarmed EC-class ship.
Wait for the host to finish countdown before you start shooting.
You HAVE to be away from EVERY enemy atleast 1500m BEFORE the Start signal was given.
Being in Grey Team now requires Home-KOS.
The last team that stands wins.

I still be proud to be Serco matey as ye can tell by me playin on the Serco team this week. And I ask ye what makes all ye think that to be a pirate ye have to be Home KOS? Bein KOS with 2 nations and multiple subfactions AND bein in a pirate guild is bein less of a pirate than just bein KOS with yer home nation? Shit makes no sense.

UIT finally beat Grey with Ecka edging Megedagik out with only 20-30% HP to spare.
Aye, those were the REAL teams....note how Mega was the last one to fall, and that sieger described us as being wiped out "quickly". All in all this was one of the longer and in my opinion most fun NWs that i've been part of, and thanks sieger again for hosting and for being a good sport despite all us knuckleheads. And I normally don't like to single anyone out, and hate giving praise to tgft.....but well done ecka. Solid flying old man, I fell victim to yer vult as did many others this NW. Next time I'll be gunning fer ya.

There was definitely no agreement between UIT and Itani. Ecka destroyed the entire Itani team.
So he was the backstabber? :p

either because they lack the organizing talent or cuz they are aware they done enough at VO so that everybody hates them or let's say dislikes them at the very least.
let's take good old Boda Shandis/One Eyed Willie/antibody/who ever the hell else he Plays fo' example. everybody knows he is an asshole. he can threaten to "make his own nw" if Sieger doesn't play by his rules. but what happened? he did not make an own nation war. Sieger had to do it again and chose the most comfortable way he could go by when some ninnies protest and say "ur mean we make our own grey team anyway hahaha" - he ignored them.
the NW hosts will always be people who everybody likes. Ecka Estenk, Maalik... Rin Ganborro was a pirate but he is a "cool pirate" - people like him too.
no one would play a Boda Shandis NW or a Westacular NW or even a YT-1234567 NW.

Shooting yer team mates is NOT breaking NW rules.
May i suggest ye dumbasses reread the Rules ยง on the 1st post of dis thread.
I don't read TEAM MATES MUST BE FAITHFUL or IT IS FORBIDDEN FOR A TEAM MEMBER TO ATTACK /KILL A MEMBER OF HIS TEAM..
Neither saw i a rule against setting a Non Agression Pact when it has been obvious it happened in many past NW to get rid of a serco SCP Phalanx for example.
Rules are subject to change:
-When TGFT ran the event there was no grey team allowed, a native KOS player could join any team they wanted (i remember UIT pirates fighting fer Serco).
-When CHRN took over the event a grey team was created and no native KOS rule was setup. Ye needed to be a pirate though and recognized by yer pairs (Guild tag, notorious pirate).
-When VPR run the event no grey team was allowed, players had to fight on their nation team regardless their standing.
So what you are calling the native KOS rules is far far away from being a NW tradition.
Saying that the host has a perfect right to make his own rules new or old.
And what is not expressively forbidden is allowed.
Gratz to undercover grey team. Brilliant idea guys (too bad ye didnt gank the ol' man) though i doubt it will werk a second time.

Oh btw lookin' at Sieger's set of rules, if ye die ye can come back to fight: it is not forbidden.
The rule should be something like:
"players who leave the sector or die are not allowed to come back except for observing in an unarmed EC-89 ship from a safe and respectful distance"
