What should be changed to increase player participation?
While these may not be things you need to change to how you host your events, these points are what I find to be the basic outline for growing player participation for an already enjoyable event.
- Weekly news post announcements
- Multiple announcements a week on public channels
- Consistently host regularly scheduled events, whether once a week/month
- Publicly and frequently declare understandable rules
In short, have a consistent and clear message for as many players to see, so for those that are interested they will know the time, place, and rules of the event. This may take several events held to a consistent schedule similar to how Nation War has been for the most part over the years.
