TRI is a neutral guild operating under a similar definition of neutrality spelled out by Sections 5 and 13 of the Hague Convention of 1907. Similar, but not exact, as the "landscape" of VO is a bit different from the landscape that was envisioned in 1907 (proof that neutrality has existed at least once before in history).

But TRI's sole purpose is for our members to have fun and not have to worry about politics. Some people don't like getting involved in the political drama of the universe, and it turns them away from participating in this universe at all. That really sucks. Some of these individuals have much to offer our community in the ways of knowledge, talent, and hard work. TRI allows these people and their assets to be available to ALL in the universe, so that everyone may be positively affected by their presence.

One of TRI's policies is if you are shot at in a conquerable station sector, your two options are dock or jump.

Another one of TRI's policies is that we do not get involved with station ownership conflict on any level. We administer this policy on an impartial and unbiased basis, even if one or more of the parties involved in said conflict plan to, or have a history of administering keys to TRI members.

These policies and our chosen implementation insure that we do not have to break neutrality to maintain station access. This should be obvious. Together, they form a simple and easy to understand basis to maintain our neutrality while remaining to be a productive and engaging guild for our members.

Actions were taken by a member of TRI contradictory to the nature and meaning of these policies.

The offender was reprimanded for said behavior that was out of line with these policies. This was discussed by some TRI members and all were in agreeance. Therefore, the neutrality of TRI can no longer be questioned.
