Of course the ships are completely different. But design and 3D-modeling approach seems to me very similar to VO ))

Yes. I think so.
I didn't play this game ever. Its title for international market is "Star Worves".

There are 3 parts released:
Star Wolves 3: Civil War (2009)
Star Wolves 2 (2006)
Star Wolves (2004)
