the ants are in your kitchen?
May 04, 2004 a1k0n link
Lots of them.
May 04, 2004 ctishman link
Tell me about it. Little tiny black sugar ants?
May 04, 2004 a1k0n link
Si. Except these ants look sort of like 1/16th watt resistors. They have subtly colored stripes on their butt. "Hey, this ant's 87k ohms!"

Hmmm, try replacing resistors with them...

You might just have a new item to farm!

Spanish = silly language that I was forced to learn in elementary school.
Latin = the shat.

I think the word 'están' comes from the Ancient Greek 'ĺóôéí' (pronounced Esteen.) Ancient Greek = the shat as well.

edit: characters didn't show up right...tell me how to get my cool greek characters to show up! Or, if the font in this silly input box is Courier, then I can't. >:(

Pies are NOT the master....cake >>>>> (much greater) pies.
I didn't get the second part, however. I may demand a gift to them? Or something along those lines? I'm translating it as the present subjunctive.

edit: wow...at first I said 'present indicative subjunctive.' :O
For those of you not in the know, that phrase is mutually exclusive.

Um, isn't that just a Monty Python reference?
May 05, 2004 ctishman link
No, not at all. Monty Who?

Oh yeah, and we've got The Ants™ now, too. They must have come over the forum. Thanks a lot, a1k0n.

I know those ants. I always thought they looked more like diodes though ... oh, maybe it's different ants. I've spotted them entering and leaving my laptop before (some may remember some awkward in-game moments Hoax had due to ants-in-laptop). I'm guessing that they are evolving to hide while traversing circuit boards. I suspect that they have already achieved significant high-tech infiltration as evidenced by their ability to traverse the Internet.
