yodaofborg, have you tried restarting the client? I've seen it get stuck on sending if it times out once or twice. As it is, sometimes it seems to wait upwards of 24 hours before attempting a resend. Anyway if you restart the client and it has a finnished protein it should try and uh, get your unit up right away.

roguelazer, I saw in there FAQ that a unit's score value is based on a benchmark of running it on a P4 2.4, or something like that.

Yes, but I dont want to lose my unit, as my unit was obviously hard, and it wont upload. Hmmm it took this hard unit three weeks, and although I have restarted several times, this unit just wont go in!

Well I beat you to 9th place, I don't know how long I can hold on to it. The celerons have yet to produce one unit...

My Atlon XP 2800+ has only produced about 2 units. Of course, they've been 300 pointers and I only leave it on for about 4 hours a day, but still.

Well my three are doing me proud, and im producing more points a day than a1k0n =D infact today im the 4th top producer, once i get in front Hoax, good luck keeping up =D

1st machine : folding 24/7 - P3 1000mhz, 1 Gig ram, Ubuntu linux (Debian without the headache)

2nd machine : used lots - AMD XP 2400, 256 mb ram, Gentoo linux

3rd machine : used lots - P4 1.7, 1 Gig ram, windoze... (dont ask)

4th machine : Folding 24/7 - P4 2.4, 1 Gig ram, Gentoo linux

Hah, I forgot I even had a machine still doing folding@home. For a short while (before we went live) I had the entire Vendetta server cluster operating under my name.. heheh. That's how I got where I am now, but I can't keep that up anymore obviously.

You can do it roguelazer. Several people in front of you have stalled out. You'll have to pass Phoenix to make it into the top 10 though, watch out he doesn't pirate your work unit.
