mdaniel's "RealHUD" is the best by far. I see good visual design in many others, but those "good visually appealing" designs are distracting. Good visual design/appeal
does not always equal functionality, which is MOST important in this case.

for me its all about having a veeeery tiny hud and lots of room for the view. Which is why I use a hud size bigger than 1280x1024.

If there are suggestions for improvement for "realhud" I am open to consider them and make impprovements, or implement them a new skin. :)
I will make some adjustments to the energy bar markers to be clear on the full, 75, 50 and 25% marks. I found also that this is important for gameplay. atm they divide in 20% steps and not very clear. Look forward to an updated version.

Yeah the only indicator you really need on the power bars is that bottom 25%. So you know exactly when to mash the warp button with those pirates hot on your tail (if you look at my "phone" power bars :P the bottom and the top sections are exactly the bottom and the top 25%).

The rest need only be approximate as far as I'm concerned.

Snax_28, I love your serco skin. I just have one request: Could you add cross hairs to the radar? I would do it myself but I don't have the necessisary programs.

I could possibly do it Mintebi, although I'm onot sure exactly what you're talking about. It does have crosshairs in between the power bars.

The radar (like in the bottom corners of the hud ingame). I think the file name is "hud_radar.png".

I could, so you want them too span the entire diametre of the radar? Or just in the centre of the smallest circle?

I just looked at the new one. It was actually supposed to have a crosshair sort of thing there, I just forgot to do it. I'll update both the Serco and Itani versions.

Could you tell me how to get the updated version when it comes out?

Is it possible that GUILD releases a official skin which looks like before the interface update? I mean just the look, not the order of menus, i know that this can't be reverted.
I came back and payed for this game just to see the interface updated 1 day later, which looks (sorry to say that) very deterrent and was the reason for me to cancel my subscription.
I would gladly come back (and pay again) if i knew it wouldn't hurt my eyes so badly.
