UDV's Cargo/Mineral/Addon/Temp Scanners don't work.

They work on the old, Light port models of the UDV; but not the heavy port models.

Heh.. that they did. I thought it was because you had to buy a new one, so I did a few procs to sort out my Serco and UIT levels... bought a new one and nada. Then I checked the light varient that I still had. Good news is they work like a charm.

I submitted a ticket, so hopefully one of the devs will see it and make a fix this weekend.

Yeah, the Heavy weapon variant didn't have the scanners. It is fixed now.

These features still aren't listed in the ship's description though.

Also, the temperature scan is waaaay long range than 300m. I'm seeing temps on asteroids at 3.5km+

it's like that on a normal scanner too, always has been. don't ruin it for people who hate having to get close to asteroids.

I much prefer to just cycle through them from far away and pick which one i want

That just shows how often you use a mineral scanner.

Mining beams are the ones with the temperature scanner on them.

Hm, yeah, the temp scanning doesn't obey the range limit.
I didn't notice that the UDV's description was changed when I fixed the Heavy variant. It should be fixed now. It still doesn't show the exact ranges for all the scanners though.
