For the moment, please just report any issues with the game updater normally.

Don't post output from the dig command anymore (but thanks), I've removed the geoDNS cloud as a possibility, until we eliminate another issue related to the actual game-patch server on Linux.

Still happening to me.

Happened to me this morning, was perfectly fine yesterday, fallback to update server 2 after a few minutes on a second try.
Linux Gentoo amd64 / Europe.

We are running tests to try to figure out the problem, so you will see the occasional problem while we work this out. Sorry.

Ok, we may have solved the problem so if your updater freezes or times out a lot, let us know.
