Station Attack Warnings

Jun 04, 2015 Kierky link
Firstly: they don't give a notification per station, they'll give you one For Latos, and if Bractus (or whatever) is attacked minutes later, you get no warning.

Secondly: There is an enormous timeout until the next warning is given. Halve it at least, or allow us to set a timeout based on key settings.

Sounds like suggestions not bugs.

The Second one is a Suggestion

Since you're a big abuser of this bug, greenwall, of course you'd say it's not a bug.

You say big abuser, I say efficient user. I admit ihe things you mention are quite annoying if you are defending and feel you have the upper hand. But on the flip side it is something that aids the underdogs and gives them a fleeting chance at out-maneuvering the enemy.

Right now those with the most capable pilots (with enough alts allocated near each station) keep the stations, even with the "bugs" you mention. I'd be careful to change those without considering the unintended consequences.

The warnings are supposed to be per-station and are 10 seconds apart from each other.
The warning goes out when a turret's health is below 80% and is being attacked.

Once all the turrets are destroyed, no more warnings go out.
However, it looks like there is no message that goes out saying that the station is conquerable once all the turrets are destroyed.

Well it doesn't work that way then... and is a bug.

I'd say you royally stuffed that one up because it's more like 15-20 minutes timeout. And it may be made worse by all stations being on a single key.

Ohh, I found the issue. The server sends the notification once every 10 seconds and is per-station but the client filters it out to be once per hour for all notifications. So yeah, I'll change that to once every 5 minutes per station.

Thank you.
