More More powercell variants

Right now we have only two cells worth equipping the UC and heavy batt, I suggest that the devs add more powercells and faction specific variants.

Light powercells stay between 50kg and 100kg high cap medium charge rate, low grid about 10 second to charge from 0% to 100%
Combat powercell MkI: 350cap 35charge 6grid 50kg -0/1/0/0/0- 2500creds
Combat powercell MkII: 450cap 40charge 8grid 70kg -3/4/0/0/0- 10000 creds
Combat powercell MkIII: 550cap 45charge 12grid 100kg -7/8/0/0/0- 15,000creds

Medium cells stay between 400~700kg have medium capacity and medium charge rate, medium grid 6 seconds to charge from 0% to 100%
Medium Powercell MkI 250cap 43charge 15grid 400kg -1/1/1/1/0- 3000 creds
Medium powercell MkII 300cap 47charge 17grid 450kg -2/2/2/2/0- 7000creds
Medium powercell MkIII 350cap 52charge 20grid 500kg -4/4/4/4/0- 12,000creds

Heavy powercells range between 1300~2000kg have high capacity, high grid and very good charge rate. about 9 seconds to charge from 0% to 100%
Heavy Combat powercell MkI: 400cap 48charge 15grid 1400kg -1/0/2/0/0- 5000creds
Heavy Combat powercell MkII: 550cap 54charge 20grid 1600kg -3/0/4/0/0- 10,000creds
Heavy Combat powercell MkIII: 600cap 58charge 30grid 1800kg -6/0/8/0/0- 15,000creds

Fast charge cells have low cap, medium grid and good charge. 5~4 seconds from 0% to 100%
Fast Powercell MkI: 200cap 40charge 15grid 200kg -0/0/0/2/1- 10,000creds
Fast Powercell MkII: 225cap 50charge 15grid 250kg -0/0/0/4/4- 20,000creds
Fast Powercell MkIII: 200cap 52charge 20grid 300kg -0/0/0/8/6- 30,000creds

Itani powercell
Itani powercell MkI: 450cap 50charge 12grid 100kg -2/3/0/1/0- 500 standing

Serco powercell
Serco powercell MkI: 500cap 54charge 22grid 1000kg -2/0/3/1/0- 500 standing
Serco powercell MkII: 650cap 60charge 30grid 1700kg -5/0/6/2/0- 900 standing

UIT powercell
UIT powercell MkI: 150cap 40charge 15grid 600kg -1/1/0/3/2- 500 standing
UIT powercell MkII: 200cap 55charge 17grid 800kg -3/2/1/6/3- 900 standing

Special powercell
Hive queen powercell: 1000cap 85charge 38grid 3500kg -0/0/0/0/0- 1/25 drop

[to the first moderator that reads this please fix the remove one of the "more" in the thread title]

it would be wise to implement these on the test server before putting them onto the game server

Light/itani cells: for light fighter
Medium cells: for multipurpose ships
Heavy/serco cells: for heavy ships with powerfull engines and lots of firepower
Fast/uit cells: for trader hunters people who need to jump fast and have infiniboost with most ships

three variants of each for people as they progress through the game and unlock more addons.

Yes.

The medium powercell takes less time to recharge to 25% than the heavy powercell, so it does have a use for low-level traders.

Jesuscatfuckingchrist I'd be farming those SF cells for my Hounds/Valks.

I suggest adding more mass to the heavy batteries, you're missing a level requirement for the medium battery mkI, and I also suggest dividing the drop rates by 10 (meaning instead of 1/5 make it 1/50 and 1/100) for the hive queen and strike force batteries.

...Where'd the Ultra Charge Batteries go?

I ate them.

I need to think about this more. A couple things worry me here (like SF dropping yet another thing. makes sense... but there won't be any SF left in corvus), but overall I like the idea.
I am not opposed to the idea. though it would make my energy-spamming-self a lot more... efficient :).

Medium powercell MkIII would be on every one of my ships... just gotta secure some funding first.

What Surbius said, otherwise it seems totally fine (I suspect mass has already been added to the HPC as of my writing this post). Also, I think mods cannot alter posts as finely-grained as you wished, spidey. I might be wrong, though.

Yees, very nice :)

Although there won't be any queens left either, energy spammers will eat them all. :)

Yah... my bet is TGFT will destroy them all and sell them. Either that or there would be new queen-hunting guilds will rise up like a plague :p.

Popping 25 queens to get one of those batts would a pain in the arse not to mention that's a 2500kg batt...

Ooo. Me likey.

I've always wanted more powercell variety, and this would add a lot more "fine-tuning" to ship types....

Worthy of consideration

Yep, this will be neat.

* Ostan-Be Ralel wants a Hive Queen Batt!
Don't care if it is 2500kg... I like heavy ships :P
Also, some people queen more than others

I like this idea because the grid system currently penalizes rag drivers. I think it was really meant to limit 2 and 3 port ships. The variety of grid values associated with the different weights of batteries implements the limiting mechanism of the grid system much better!

yes it is a shame we cant have small and large battery ports as well.
