I dont think the drain mechanic actually works on them at all but i haven't bothered testing it on NPC's extensively.

It's a raven, but unlike the other characteristics of a raven it doesn't have 195m/s speed, slow weapons are still somewhat useful in high speed pursuits against enemy fighters, but aside from that its only useful for stopping ships from jumping at the expense of a weapon slot.

So once again, the real beneficiary here is the valkryie which can afford to have a light weapon like the PCB in its third slot, vultures and combat centurions would never pick a PCB in a combat setup in a pink fit.

This suggestopm is about introducing a disable mechanic for a flanker, this weapon is not useful in the scenarios where you have to chase somebody down; gauss never is, and drain is actually far less helpful than damage. If anything the drain stat should be increased here.
