/explode exploding
Simple idea, factor in weapons, power cells and certain cargo when another ship is hit by a ships explosion.
By way of example a bomber rag (two Chaos Swarms and three Sun Flares) with full tubes and a fast charge cell (at full charge) should do 69,540 with a blast radius of 90 meters. I know that's a lot but that represents everything being full, a rare situation in combat.
This would make explosions a lot more exciting... far more dangerous and would open up interesting avenues of tactics AND role play.

All I can think of is suicide bombing. A levi. With 4 people at once lol.

If you get caught in a ships explosion and die... well, learn to fly better. If you need to be that close to land a shot, learn to aim better. At any rate, if you cause the other ship to explode... you still win.

+1. It should also take certain types of volatile cargo into account, such as (maybe) Corrosive Chemicals.
So my BMIII with three full avalon launchers and a cargo of 160 full chaos swarm launchers will splode how big?
