I am not taking anything away from the developers when i say the forums suck. I know they are working on the game, but this forum needs to be updated to the basic tech of the 200o's.
I'm not asking for much. Allow us to follow posts. Email a change and the basic things of a modern forum.
I am an It expert but an ok web programmer. I could to better than this site. and you have 1000+ players. I am not saying hire me (i'm lazy and inept) i'm saying ask or hire someone to redesign this site to have the basic modern features.

The features you suggest are not necessary until there is more volume.

Actually, an ability to subscribe to threads would be handy, especially for plugin developers, so that we can be alerted more quickly if there is an issue with one of our plugins (I check the forum frequently, but not all of us do). Same goes for PCC mission creators.

The other main things I miss are [code] tags and (to a lesser extent) [quote] tags.

That's pretty much it. I'd rather not have most of the other things "modern" forums have.

We're adding thread subscription options (I'm not sure when, but it's on the list). Mainly for the PCC to be able to communicate more effectively about new missions, but it should be useful beyond that.
