Remove the Active Players Page

Is there some purpose for this page ?
This page has no useful information on it and should be removed

It shows you which of your buddies are online.

No.

It's clear Captain86 has no buddies that are ever online, lol.

Besides the buddies, it also shows relative activity of the three nations, and overall activity over time.

Captain86, it only costs something like $60 to get your eyes checked, and if you order the lenses yourself online and opt out of all the fancy treatments, you can get those pretty cheaply too.

The devs killed the buddy command fer i, when my supposed buddies got the ability to hide 'em location from i.

+1 to remove the page unless ye make it graphically enjoyable to watch with mini animations like explosions when players explode/leave.

Eyes were recently check by a real doctor and everything and confirmed 20/20

Visual reconfirmation of the graph that shows nothing useful, no scale and not relativity to anything useful.
What stupid graph doesn't show a volume scale on the left vertical axis ?

What ? "Shows relative activity of the three nations" ? Relative to what ? There is NO scale thus there is no relativity to anything except a speculated number which cannot be quantified.

So it's relative to an opinionated speculated number which cannot be quantified.
Splendid, thanks for clearing that up.

At least get rid of the graph and change the title to Buddy List.

Why are people so attached to the irrelevant stupid graph anyhow ? Anyone with any common sense can clearly see it means absolutely nothing.

"What ? "Shows relative activity of the three nations" ? Relative to what ?"

Relative to each other. As in, you can see whether the nations have equal numbers, or if there are twice as many Itani as Serco, etc.

It also lets you see which times of day have the most and least players.

The graph should not display players that are inactive for 20mn (no chat, no ship in space) :p

The graph shows:

1) The times of peak player activity, something useful to a new user (especially one from Europe or Asia).

2) The relative density of players on different factions. In this case, particularly notable for how they've evened out after the factional mutual-exclusivity rules.

If some people find something genuinely useful, it has no negative impact of any kind, and it requires no effort to keep it.. why would we remove it? This thread is dumb.
