Use Keyboard Arrows in Navigation Menu

Currently you can zoom in and out of sectors with the 'z' key (by default). It would be nice to use the arrow keys also so you could plot a course with just the keyboard.

⌘ (or Control) + Arrow could jump to the edges of a sector, or several blocks as opposed to one. Then zoomed out the arrows would move from system to system. One key for route course to system, another key (or shift + that key) for add to course. 'U' (default) already serves as an undo key.

This would be neat. Useful if gamepads worked as well.

Remember that a mouse wheel will zoom in and out within the same system as well. Not what you're asking for, but just something you may not have been aware of.

Mouse wheel zooms the image. When the OP says "zoom", he means switching back and forth between the system and universe maps (the button for this in the nav panel is labeled "Zoom"). What he's asking for though is the ability to set a course using only the keyboard.

Well, there's always the /navroute command for that. /navroute add Sedina B-8
