As the owner of 3 accounts, one main long term account with one main full long term character and two lite accounts that like to strategically watch the game from various stations depending on what I am doing, I say, with the new light tier play system, lets eliminate all the alts. Each account should be it's own Character and should require their 99 cents per month or $10 per month. No more getting 5 chars for 99 cents or $10, let's have one char per account. Let the player choose between the types of accounts.

Reduce the alts down to 3 UNDELETEABLE alts. Less pansy game play.

they should get 5 limited characters for 99 cents, is that not the way it works? lite subs are capped at 4?
yes, I have 10 systems I can monitor for $1.98 per month. I move them around in my main char's atlas x. I have an ipod and an ipad that watch the systems.

Other than that I'm fine with limitting it a bit. Removing all 5 other chars is a bit harsh. What will people who don't have a "main" do? Will they get the Chance to split their other character as a new account?

+1 to limiting character slots on limited accounts. Make it an in-app purchase or something to buy more.

This would be more profitable model for devs and is still very fair to players as well as stopping abuses by players who should be paying for insane numbers of alts. If you are going to play that much you should pay a fair price for it. Higher profits = faster and better updates (hopefully).
Premium Account $10
3 Characters - character can be deleted after 2 weeks of inactivity and replaced with a new one.
Lite Account $3
1 Character - Limited to license lvl 4 - 2 additional slots can be purchased for $2 each - 2 weeks of inactivity to delete character and start a new one
Free 2 Play (only on mobiles)
1 Character - lvl 3 limit - no upgrade options other than go to lite lvl
Premium Account $10

Why nerf premium subs? What "abuses" are you supposedly trying to stop here?

How is limiting a premium account to 3 characters nerfing? That gives you the ability to play as one of each of the major factions or however you decide to split them.
What possible reason would you need more than one of each faction?
That fact that you feel that is nerfing says to me you have found a loophole/workaround allowing you to exploit alt accounts for an advantage. What that may be I don't know so why don't you tell us a legitimate reason for more than 3 characters when you are only paying $10 a month?
