GET SOME FLASHY *STORM WARNING* GFX.....
Ok,so i can see theres a lil green blip, i can also see that my ship is exiting the jump sideways, and have gotten used to this meaning storm... but the first (and second, third fourth times) it happened, i thought i had jumped, (and flew around in circles for ten minutes wondering why the nearest large object was not changing....)... I appreciate theres probably going to be some nice storm GFX soon, but wouldnt a temp fix to do a flashy red text saying ION STORM, or NAV SYS FALIURE or summink, not a very noob friendly game at the mo...
P.S. I also think you should be able to *duel* members of your OWN faction if you are in a group.... just a thought....

Storm sectors could use a special skybox, too. Sector 0, anyone? :D
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, yea that'd let people know they were in a storm. slap the ol sector 0 skybox on it.
Perhaps the "Caution" GTS symbol could flash on the screen.
yodao, just so you know, you can duel people in your group. If you get in a group with other people, you can duel with no faction loss.

oh, own super-faction. I get it. I thought he meant the factions like Corvus, Axia, etc. ok.
Hasn't this been said before? It's not even off the front page yet.
Before you open the beta testing, there should at least be a text warning...
I would at least prefer a text warning similar to a bot's name flashing (or player's name) when you are attacked..

The reason being: I just played Vendetta yesterday. It was my 3rd or 4th day in the new universe overall... maybe my 6th hour? First day ever in 3.5.6.. I came into a sector spinning out and immediatly thought "Well, heres another sector that needs to be put in the "Asteriods too close to you when coming out of a wormhole"... but then suddenly I saw 3 red dots nearing my screen, and a green + dot thingy that looked like an serco friend with a flag :) (good times :P), then I read the words
"STORM EXIT POINT".
Then I was freaking out in channel 100 :P. Id prefer to have at least a text warning. It will help those newbs out... a lot... unless you have some sort plan for a different kind of indication of a storm before the beta test opens.

Have newbies go through a storm in their training mission.
