I don't know if there is already a thread on this, but if it wasn't, here it is now, as i want to contribute something to this promising game:

What "devices" would you consider usefull to equip your ship? Maybe if the ideeas are good enough the devs will consider adding stuff to the list of goodies available for buying in docks.

For example, what about a "cloacking device"? There could be several twists to such a thing. Here are some:
- the cloacking could drain huge amount of battery
- cloaking functional only for straight-line flying or inertial flying
- any hit fired at the shield would drain even more energy from the battery also making the ship visible for an instant.
- maybe ship visible on radars only, or just for a certain type of cloaking device or just for short periods of time 2 of 10 seconde

The cloaking device could be usefull when trading as well as pirating, invading, group actions, etc.
Even if the ideeas won't be implemented they could become interesting food for thought for the devs.
