station attack mission, please vote

I wish a station attack mission (enemy of course). I talk about the station not the bots around.
I think every station could be damage (just a little if not possible to destroy it).

It would be interesting to have assault missions; particularly for the Itani/Serco on each other, possibly for the Neutrals versus the pirates.

It'd give more of a purpose with the various factions, and give the factions a chance to establish a rapport with one of the other factions (serco/itani with the neutrals, neutrals with serco/itany) by assisting with their primary enemy.

Ya, just botting is getting boring, I want something I can sink my teeth into! Either a cap ship or a station. In Freelancer, when ever you took a station killing mission, a station "appeared" some where in space for you to kill, while that was kinda corny, at least you could use your heavy weapons.

idea is nice but I think to do stations in unknown space (the grey area in your galaxy map) and perhaps droppings of weapons, batteries and tradeable.

How about a "capture station" group mission? One (or two) person (people) has (have) to be in a transport(s) and carries troops while the rest of the group is in combat to ward off the station guards/strike force.

The transports' job is to dock wit hthe station, and after that it takes a few minutes for the inf to capture it (maybe they use on of those little airlocks that are scattered about stations) and the combat ships have to continue to swat away bots while the transports have to stay there and support the troops.

After, say, five minutes, the station caps and all that's left is to fight off the last of the bots.

I'm all for having missions in the game that require players using different types of ships to co-ordinate attacks :-)

Bombers with fighter escorts and transports with tropps all sound like great idea's :-)
