PvP Experience

Currently, it appears you only get combat experience for PvP. Why not also give XP to whatever weapons were used to make the kill? After all, PvP combat is much harder than botting and should have a much greater reward.

Then maybe people would actually fight each other and PvP would become more prevalent again! I think we all can agree that we want that.

Keep the current system that penalizes you for killing newbs, but give more varied and more XP for killing non-newbs (Say someone with lvl 4 combat or above, or level 2 trade or something. I trust the devs to come up with a fair level)

I think a bounty might be cool. For instance, the itani could have a MOST WANTED list that showed which serco had killed the most itani for the week. It could have a top 10 and killing the player in the number one spot would give the most money.

Hey cool idea SmallHorse, that would be good, then it would encourage people to go after the PvPers and not noobs. Of course PvP won't happen at all if something isn't done about the def-bots...
But still I really like the bounty idea.

I have to agree with this one...most wanted list and bouty both great ideas!

We had bounties before and it didn't work too well.

These would be more like bounty-bot bounties the way they've been described.

Any thoughts on getting experience for PvP? Better than botting and twice the fun...

One small issue (and may not actually happen): If you make the rewards too great, you might get people home-stationing themselves near each other and take turns killing each other for combat pres.

Now, this can be easily avoided by making buses not worth the experience, but anybody with money (which isn't hard to get) will beable to buy a wraith or something over and over again. Afterall, there a lot of people who are desparate enough to trade a bit of cash for combat XP.

Just a concern I had coming from a game where this turned out to be fairly prevelant. Again, it may not happen in this community, but it is something to think about.
