please re-color the new distance meter...

...to match the rest of the HUD, i.e., medium-green and translucent-green. the blue-and-red kinda clash :C

oddly enough, I think the current system readout will be able to stay blue, as long as the bar is changed... :o

thanks :D

Seconded. If it were changed to match the color scheme of the speed and energy meters, it would blend in a lot better.

To add to that. I'd put the numerical display into the graphical one, that could safe some space. Or would that look stupid?

NOOOO. just do away with it. the old green 3000m thingy was much more realistic, if thats the right word.

Actually, if the developers could change the colors of text messages to bone white and the colors of the targetting cross hairs to an oak wood color, it would really match the decor of my house.

..while I'm sure we all love listening to goatwarrior's interior decorating advice, this is sadly beside the point. Good interfaces are consistent ones, and one of the premier places such consistency is maintained is through a uniform color scheme...

I believe most would agree that the most dominant visual elements across the HUD are the speed/energy bars, which are green when full, and translucent green when empty. There is no other moving progress-bar in the standard (non-grouped) HUD. When in a group, the damage-bar is a brighter green consistent with the rest of the damage display area. Bright green/yellow/orange/red is for damage, and green/translucent green is for standard gauges.

Now, however, the distance meter has gone from being a red/green text indicator to a blue/red gauge. Many of us feel that this should be turned into a green/translucent green gauge to better match the speed/energy bars, thus creating a triad of major HUD elements that are consistent in their form and color...

Thank you, that is all.......

I don't care about consistant interface, as long as it matches my carpet and moldings.

I don't care about your carpet and such, as long as I have goat soup for dinner.

The consistant interface would be a really good thing, I think, however.

Lost continents should stay lost >.>

Save the goats.

The HUD needs more glowyness on indicators like that, glowy is good. Green glowy.
