Why am I killing unaligned bots?
This question/suggestion has two meanings:
1) Why am I killing bots that aren't aligned with anyone, and why are they attacking me?
2) Why am I killing bots?
Solution to 1: Put "Rogue" or "Hive" as their faction
Solution to 2: In the mission statement, say Hive Queens are starting to produce bots in historically record numbers, so pilots are desperately needed to cull the population until either the Queens can be starved of resources or another solution to the problem can be found.
Both fixes shouldn't take much time at all to implement, and would give a hint of purpose to the endless bot killing that typifies the leveling process.

Bump. Please, take a couple minutes to make the endless botting of the lower levels have some semblance of purpose.

heh, you forgot to mention that they apparently don't attack each other even though they're all different kind of bots. They must be aligned with their own faction i guess.
