Cargo interface & pirating

Right now, there is no real way to organise or examine cargo inside the ship while flying. Neither is there any secure way for player-to-player cargo/cash transations. Are there any plans for some kind of interface that'll let the player look at cargo mid-flight, jettison individual items of cargo, and trade securely with other players? I think this is a pretty essential feature, especially the trading aspect.

Also, pirating needs to be made a lot more functional. The way I see it, pirating should involve stopping, disabling or overbearing the victim in some way, then getting the victim to jettison his or her cargo. Right now, this isn't really possible because they can run away easily. Any plans in making this game more pirate-friendly? ;)

Here are a couple of quickly thought-up suggestions for this: 'disruptor missiles' that either disable boost or warping, or otherwise make a ship less able to move; greater differences between ship max speeds... That's all I can really think of.

With piracy, it's cheaper to kill anything that moves and see if it held anything. Why waste time examining it, when you can destroy it and pick up the cargo? Cargo is indestructable, so who cares if the ship blows up?

Piracy needs to be more expensive to the pirate. Not prohibitively, but they should have to work for it. Maybe cargo should be destroyed too? But then how would we bot for materials? Hmmm...

Also, player to player trade doesn't make any sense right now. There is no need for me to sell you my goods when I can travel around looking for a station to get the best deal. I don't have anything you can't get easily just as easily as I got it.

Since players don't produce or manufacture products, everyone is working in the same market with the same goods. Only stations consume.
