playing on a Windows tablet

I am upgrading my tablet with my mobile phone company soon (February) and am wondering if its worth moving to Windows as that would offer some benefits with regards work. The tablet they offer is the Acer Iconia w511 3G/LTE 1.8ghz Intel atom duel core processor with 2gb of ram. At the minute I'm on as Galaxy tab 2 7 with 1,2 GHz processor and 1 gb of ram and it runs the game but I'm unsure about what's required to run on windows tablets. Any advice gratefully accepted. The rivals are both droid but don't come with a removable keyboard. I don't want to get the thing and find I can't play VO as I'd go on as rampage.

The device should be capable of running the game. However, if there are bugs, and you use the Windows Store version, it may take us some time to work around them.. posting updates through the Windows Store takes a long time.

You could install the regular self-updating version from the website, but then it would not have the touchscreen UI (I think the removable keyboard would work, but you'd still have no mouse?).

Similarly, Windows 8 does not really have a "tilt" (accelerometer) API that I'm aware of.. yet anyway. So there's no tilt-controls in the game.

If what you want is a tablet-interface to the game, Android is currently the most frequently updated and supported version for that.

But, of course, a lightweight PC with a keyboard and mouse can be a lot better play experience. But then it's not really a tablet anymore.

More some thoughts to consider than any kind of outright advice..

Thanks for the reply. I'll stick with droid or kindle fire maybe the 8.9 HDX.
