I'm running mac 10.4.11 and every time i quit VO. whether it is apple+q or if i press esc and then log out and then quit causes my whole computer to freeze and forces me to do a hard restart.

I am having the same issue. I have to manually turn off my computer each time I'm done playing the game. It's not so much an issue as an annoyance.
