As of today, April the 28th, whenever I logon and enter the game the screen immediately freezes. However, the community chat log still works, but none of my input commands work, so I have to manually turn off and turn on my computer.

Run 10.5.8, and have a similar problem when logging out, the password screen locks (just use force quit).
Reloaded the game and removed all plugins, this helped with the frequency of crashes which range from the screen freezing (music playing) and the screen going black (both require a power off reset).

Had hard drive check (EFI version, DiskWarrior, Disk Utility, ASD OS) and no problems found except with vendetta. Had operating system reloaded and updated. Monitored temperatures with Temperature Monitor, Marcel Bresink, Ver 4.95, and all temperatures within limits.

I will get single pixel thick, colored spikes coming out of objects (usually a sign of impending doom). Traveling too close to a trident especially when approaching a WH, or entering or launching from a trident near a WH is almost a guaranteed crash. After a crash my JS (Logtech, Extreme 3D) Z axis is adversely affected (spins on launch, calibration screen has center to the far right which takes multiple recals to get near center which works most of the time but not always). Game crashes also seem to affect other programs and I usually have to run disk utility (permissions) and/or disk repair from the boot disk (never finds errors but seems to improve the computers performance). Also notice single pixel lines on my screen (desk top or browser) after playing the game, which are gone after running the aforementioned utilities and rebooting.

Letting my subscription run out this month as this is a definite game issue.
