So my girlfriend (who uses a mac) downloaded the trial, and for some reason nothing would successfully bind to +TurnLeft and +TurnRight.

/bind leftarrow +turnleft - didn't work
/bind leftarrow +turbo - worked
/bind o +turnleft - didn't work

The computer in question is a Macbook of unknown generation, running what I believe to be Snow Leopard. Any ideas?

Nevermind, just had to turn off mouselook.
