What is the best way to join black lance?

Seriously though, there is really no best way. We don't have strict box-checkable list of criterias we look for when we invite people to the guild. The oft-cited condition of PVP uberness is actually one of the less important things we look at. Mostly though we just look for people with fun personalities (one of the best bit of BLAK is the guild chat), who are as willing to play the part of the EVEEL pirate as much as to help out others in whatever way we can.

Finally, about that large pizza with all the toppings....

PvP skill is nice, but its sorta going to come down to how well you get along with us.

If you join the Itani Alliance [IA], you get to meet lots of Black Lance members! We are on very close terms with most of them, in fact I would say that we see each other every day. :)
Oh, and [IA] offers free Itani child daycare, stylish [IA] apparel, and... um... life insurance...

Anyway, I wanted to join the Black Lance at first, and everyone was so unfriendly and discouraging, (they kept telling me I needed to prove myself, and I wouldn't fit in with them,) so I gave up, and don't even have any wishes concerning it anymore. I'm a Council and Lieutenant of the Sigma guild, and life is good. BLAK has lost its chance on me.

Well, not entirely calder, we just said that we'd prefer someone who didn't use a skycommand prometheus exclusively. And had you tried some other ones, we might have relented.

We still kind've have the hold on recruitment though. Just come hang out with us "who? me?", if it works out, then we'll probably invite you. (When I say hang out, I mean start fighting in Grey space, if we like your attitude, we'll call you)

This deserves to be said tiem and time again:

If you're dead set on joining a pirate Guild, be it the glittering halls of BLAK or the ill-kept pub of The Syndicate, do not do it with visions of plunder and riches in your head!

Piracy doesn't pay the utilities bill, it just gives you endless hours of harassing and fighting fun. Be sure not to quit your day job if you decide to follow the Path of the Pegleg!

Person : Perhaps if you have not slag off your old [IA] guild in public the RP forums, we would have thought more about your request. As I said, PVP uberness is not as important as you think it is. Proving yourself means more than just demonstrating an ability to blast people.

Besides, we are happy you are enjoying your new guild, who knows you might have detested your BLAK experience =).
