Ultimate/Planned Capital Ship Battle (12) (Skygge Vakter Battle)

There will be an Ultimate/Planned Capital Ship Battle (12) (Skygge Vakter Battle) Saturday, August 20, 2005, at 7pm GMT. Use Daylight Saving Time (where applicable) to translate the time. We will be using Scenario 1 for this battle.
NO RULES. Ok I’ll say it again NO RULES. Do what ever you want. I won’t be coordinating this event (because there is no need too). Fight anyway you want. Attack any ship you want and team up with anyone you want. Also no prizes at all for this battle. Just have fun.
19:00 GMT All cap ships will spawn at their ready positions:
(I don’t know exact locations but they will be spawned 1 sector away from Sedina B8)
19:20 GMT Cap ships will start moving toward Sedina B8. When the cap ships jump to B8 the battle will start.
Please be sure you are all on time. With the changes we should be able to start the battle at 7:20 pm GMT. I would like to start as close to that time as possible. You should arrive at 7 pm GMT though.
I once again want to thank the developers and guides for their help. Without them we wouldn’t have a game at all.
As always your suggestions, comments and opinions are welcome.

Then I suggest that once more we gank the Itani, specially if a "whole" guild is going to defend its nation's ship.

Like I said no rules so do what you like. and I didn't discuss this with anyone in the SKV, so I'm not sure if anyone from that guild will even be there.

A big thanks to all who participated!
That was definitely one of the most fun events I've been part of.
UIT won... as usual.
And I say that Matriarch was a Superior defender.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the last battle. It was fun. About 12 people participated in this battle. The UIT and Serco forces out numbered the Itani almost 3 to 1 during the last part of the battle.
What I found odd was that the UIT lost its turrets first and still won the battle. Usually the ship that looses it turrets first, losses the battle. After the UIT ship lost its turrets the 3 cap ship separated. They flew about 2000m from each other and sort of stayed stationary.. I think that change in their behavior makes it more fun for all. No longer do the cap ships themselves determine the winner of the battle, but now players can really make a difference in determining who wins.
Look here on the Role playing forums for the announcement for the next battle. It will probably be in 2 to 3 weeks, unless you want it sooner.
