Dear TPG Representative,
Following your recent memo about the delivery delays of the TPG Raptor, as contracted by the Coalition Of Itan (Purchase Order #MGLV-4433-12-03-01, reference my latest communication at http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/7/12315 ), I can assure you that the Coalition maintains it's position in terms of the deal specified in the original PO.
For such a fine ship, [ITAN] can wait for all the small details to be worked out before we take delivery, en masse, of the ordered fleet. We do appreciate all of the ship's console's interface changes that you've made, as per our request.
As you know already, my recent election to the duty of Commander of [ITAN] certainly will facilitate communication with the illustrious TPG corporation in the futur and thus accelerate negotiations of any new commercial agreement.
Speaking of my recent duty changes, I really do appreciate the 'special' gift you have sent me to commemorate the solidification of our commercial pact. Your local TPG technicians and deck handlers in Latos were quite surprised to see a Raptor prototype being delivered in boxes. I have personally witnessed the assembly of the prototype and have taken it out on a test flight myself, much to the objection of the chief deck handler.
Unfortunately, I ran into some unexpected company near the Latos-Azek wormhole. I can tell you that for a prototype, the Raptor did handle superbly well in combat and I was able to engage and win-over the first target. Thanks to the effect of surprise this unlikely hull shape created, I had time to inspect the spaced debris and made quite a surprising find using the on-board cargo scanners (wich are now functional--thank you). However, before I was able to recover the package in question, more unfriendly targets warped into the sector, probably called-in by the previous target.
I am afraid that your gift was short-lived, as I was overcome by incoming forces. This time, the escape pod did function and I was safely returned to the TPG loading dock in very short time, unlike your technicians of the previous test flights. It is quite unfortunate that the precious find wasn't recovered. But this short-lived Raptor gift might have brought in something as precious; information crucial to [ITAN].
