The Uknown presensce
"Cammander Wedge Antilles, good to see your still alive".
"Good to to see you to General Panib, its been ar to long", i said through my comlink. "Whats the mission report general"?
"We want you and your squadron Ajatar, to go into Latos and make a complete patrol sweep of the enire system, Weve been getting reports of itani activity increasing there and were wondering if theres an itani fleet there".
"I'll prep my squadron as soon as we get our new shipment of SkyCammand Prometheus's, Or if you cant wait and this is urgent ill get my squa dinto some vults", I was really getting interested in this new mission of ours.
"No can do, you have to leave as soon as possible, if there is an itani fleet and if it is preparing a massive attack in our home systems, then i atleast want to know that well be against one. You have your orders captain, get to it". and that was the last thing he said over the comlink.
I got up and got my flight suit on, I went to the bar since i had a feeling the squad members would be there, as i walked i thought to myself, 'What if we do encounter thsi so called fleet'. My mind was very busy on trying to come up with a plan as i continued my walk.
The bar doors opened swiftly as i walked near it, i wlake dinto the bar and i was right the squad was there. "Hey pilots, we got a new mission to go to Latos and do a complete patrol sweep there, General Panib seemed anxious to see if there is an itani fleet there", i said. "We leave now in our vultures, we cant wait for our proms". That was all i had to say and the pilots stood and went to there bunks to get their flight suits on.
I was in the hanger bay checking my flight systems and weapons control when the alrams went off, and the intercom announced that there was Uknown Fighters in the sector, my squad and i got into our vults and took off to inspect thsi new presensce.
"Red 2 and 3 on me, red 5,6 and 7 together. Lets see whats going on", i said trhough my comlink. the comlink beeped twice to indicate my pilots received the order. As we flew in perfect unision, all of a suddent the station we had left exploded, Then the everything went to hell traders were vaped by these unknown looking fighters. "Pilots enagage the enmy at once now!".
As we went into attack position we got our enemy in our sights and opened up on them. What should have been an explosion was just the blackholes absorbing our energy shots. "Sir, ive been hit! port wing broken off and my stabilizers are.....NOOO", Then Red 3 exploded. I was infused in my anger but i knew we didnt stand a chance against the enemy. All pilots retreat to Pyronis system.
When we arrived i was shocked that itnai ambassadors were her in OUR station. I walked up to ask why the hell the were here, "Why the hell is itani scum in our territory. "Ah, Captain Antilles, we came here to discuss that weve been attacked by an Uknown presensce. I was shocked, and told them about the battle we had in Initros. "Initros! no, cant be, we wouldve known if there was anyone there". said one of the Serco ambassadors.
I knew something was going on, something big and i had to find out.....
