Host needed...
To race fans everywhere:
A long time ago, Martin and BLAK handed me and TGFT the reigns of The Deneb Run. It was a great honor they bestowed, and I'd like to believe that we've done a good job of carrying the torch ever since. The time has come, however, for me to retire as host of The Deneb Run and pass the torch to someone else.
As many of you know, there are other folks and guilds that have helped support and host The Deneb Run on a number of occasions, and some now provide co-sponsorship of the event. I'm speaking, of course, about our current partners SSC and CDC.
In order to not play favorites, I'm going to let them work out who will be the new host. If both guilds wish to host, then perhaps a shared and/or alternating host arrangement could be worked out. Whatever happens, I wish them the best.
TGFT will continue it's sponsorship of The Deneb Run for the foreseeable future. I'll cover the TGFT payments for last week's event and this week's event (if a host is found in time), and then Ecka Estenk will take over providing payments to the new host(s) as appropriate.

Whoever takes over as host give me a shout , so I can get the money transferred . I may be able to help host the early run , but by the time the late one starts I tend to be curled up asleep next to a nice warm 'roid.
I feel that there ought to be more player run events in VO, but I realise that its a chicken and egg situation , events encourage more players online , but we need players online before events are viable.
