for the record, on the few occasions UIT ACTION NEWS has had contact with VPR, they acted in a professional, polite and effective fashion. on the very few occasions that UIT ACTION NEWS has had contact with TGFT, four out of six encounters were pleasant and polite...(of the two that were not, one was an argument with a friend and one was simply put...unpleasant)...it is unfortunate that a group capable of doing good is demonized either by perceived actions or by the actions or words of a small number of members, but that is the world we live in.
the following interview is simply the opinion of one pilot.

FUROR POETICUS: this is going to be a bit longwinded, i left for several reasons. the first being i felt too constrained by the rules. Now keep in mind anything i say is NOT to badmouth them. theyre great guys.

FUROR POETICUS: due to the fact i usually come on late at night, when no other VPRs are on, I felt forced to due patrols and hunt rats constantly, other members have recently told me i never hAVE to do pats. however strat conveyed things to me to make it sound like patrols had to be done every time you logged in

FUROR POETICUS: other reasons were that i havent won a fight in weeks. other people might just enjoy the pvp, but fighting people like pey and kmetreq makes you hate pvp quick. Fighting Ret, FB, Mortis etc is fun, fighting griefers isnt.

FUROR POETICUS: i wouldnt know about "funding" but Theopolis(if hes TGFT) donated a cache of rare guns to VPR recently. TGFT and VPR DO have a formal alliance though. VPR has several NAPs but TGFT has the only actual alliance.

FUROR POETICUS: the basic pilots no. I dont believe they hold any favor. The higher ups like Strat, MDuncan, and NIut...its possible. i never saw any direct evidence from Duncan or Niut, but I wouldnt put it past Strat.

FUROR POETICUS: SKY has openly declared itself a pirate guild. They are at war with the universe and should be destroyed on sight

FUROR POETICUS: back when i started when CLM was the pirate powerhouse, i think they did their jobs well, CLM had a grudging respect for VPR and vice versa, they were friends who had to kill each other.

FUROR POETICUS: now with the griefers using dishonorable pvp tactics and such, i think they are falling a little behind and something new is needed. VPR even refuses to contract EMS in battle, due to the fact that rats use them and using mercs is dishonorable.

no travelling with others into nation space. no escorts for free. if you want help you pay, although small fees. nothing like a rats 500k demands. This group would be called ARES: Armed Retribution and Elimination Specialists

FUROR POETICUS: Furor Poeticus* members of ARES would be free to fly wherever they wish. our war time activities would be restricted to grey space. if an ARES pilot wished to engage in the Serco/Itani War, they would be free to. if they enjoy hunting the Hive, they would be free to etc

No. I would never allow any sort of agreement with those loathsome scum. They cantbe trusted to keep it. not only that but a war on TGFT and VPR would constitute war upon order and commerce in grey space. intolerable.

Try taking it with a grain of salt or just see it as an interview and as the views of the pilot involved. journalism rarely is impartial but then you see the disclaimer. So relax enjoy its a game, you know an escape from reality if you bring real events here to flavor your response then expect to be offended.

» That it appears no proofreading took place in any of these "alerts". If this were the real world of journalism these "alerts" would have been proofread to death before being put up. A suggestion: copypasting a conversation directly from your VO logs tends to look and read like crap, especially when one or more of the person(s) involved have spelling and grammar issues. And no, English not being your native language is not an excuse. Your word processor (or even web-browser) of choice probably has a spell-check. Use it. It's there for a reason.

The IDF (Itani Defense Force) has not existed for hundreds, even thousands of years. The IDC (Itani Defensive Corps) is the current "official" military-like organization. The IDF was an organization created and funded by Akan and his allies*, whereas the IDC is run by the Order of Eo**, an organization that is diametrially opposite of the Order of Akan.

MSKanaka...I had considered getting a trial account, but chose not to hide behind it. If people take issue with what UIT ACTION NEWS reports, I encourage them to find me and discuss the issues and I offer them the chance for an interview to present their side of the issues.

JB, I am biased. However, the interviews are not. the interviews are open to any one who feels they have a relevant news story or opinion. it is stated at the beginning of each interview that they are opinions. I of course also extend the invitation of an interview to you as well.
