UIT ACTION NEWS...interviews with members of TGFT
UIT ACTION NEWS: would you be interested in a short interview? I am trying to get all sides of the recent developments with SKY and the implications

UIT ACTION NEWS: well, as you know SKY has declared war on TGFT and made some ugly allegations about VPR and I was simply wondering what your opinions...
*Ifor Ivanovich* About all that seems to have happened is we have a new pure pirate guild. Apart from that, they're easily avoidable, I've had absolutely no trouble from any of them
UIT ACTION NEWS: so, it in not a cause of concern?
*Ifor Ivanovich* I'll get worried if I see worrying actions; at present all I see is a bunch of loudmouths
UIT ACTION NEWS: is it true that other guilds have tried to destroy TGFT?
*Ifor Ivanovich* Not as far as I know. About all other guilds can do is cause grief, which ends with them getting kos ratings with major factions. And as most pirates freely admit, KOS with everybody really, really sucks, especially with turrets
UIT ACTION NEWS: I do imagine that makes life difficult.
UIT ACTION NEWS: ok, one last question...off topic: as a member of the largest most succesful trade guild, what if any advice would you offer traders who are new to the world of trade?
*Ifor Ivanovich* Try to get Pillar Of Society status with places like Xang Xi and TPG; you get good kit quicker. Oh, and get mining; ore sells for good money

Ifor Ivanovich asks that I point out that TGFT hosts and funds the Nation war. I feel it is worth mentioning that TGFT has funded many events which are certainly worth checking out.

UIT ACTION NEWS: as you may know Im doing a series of interviews on various topics, your guild is involved in some of them and Im trying to be as fair as I can...so, if I could do a breif interview about the recent declaration of war by SKY, and if your willing
*tsreknor* ok, sure, although i am not aware of a formal declaration of war ...
*tsreknor* well to start with, i personally have had little difficult with SKY, above and beyond normal pirate problems
UIT ACTION NEWS: I dont know if TGFT has made a formal declaration of war but SKY certianly has against both TGFT and VPR
*tsreknor* well SKY has recently delcared itself a pirate guild ... that would be enough, i think
UIT ACTION NEWS: do you see this war as anything that will threaten TGFT?
*tsreknor* no i have not been attacked by SKY ever, i don't think
UIT ACTION NEWS: well that does seem to be the general opinion even over at SKY
*tsreknor* CLM is a bigger problem for me than SKY, on broader hostility to TGFT, i personally don't see much of it
UIT ACTION NEWS: CLM doesnt seem to be very active these days...it has not been suggested but I'm sure TGFT has considered the possibility... would the event of an alliance between pirate/griefer guilds pose a threat to TGFT? or would that be just as ineffectual?
*tsreknor* i don't see that as a threat, ryan. i think it would take a very powerful alliance to stop us from flying, if i started running into packs of pirates or blockades, that would be important... but i have not
UIT ACTION NEWS: well, I dont think anything could completely destroy TGFT, I think the likely goal of any war against TGFT would be to disrupt the trade and income
*tsreknor* i can trade inside a capitol system all day if i want. not very interesting, of course ..
UIT ACTION NEWS: so, there is or would be some affect, just in a negligible sense
*tsreknor* i think TGFT's ability to earn creds is overrated. at some point, you have to spend it on something
*tsreknor* yes, it is possible for pirate activity to affect my game, but i think that is of the essence of gaming. i don't see that as disrupting my enjoyment of VO. i'm ok with other players challenging me
UIT ACTION NEWS: so, its no secret that there is some anamosity towards TGFT...some vocal, some silent and some very vocal...what do you think is behind this?
*tsreknor* well i personally have experienced very little of it. we had a little tiff recently, which i think was due to ... temporary anger on my part which i expressed in the wrong direction. i apologized for it.
UIT ACTION NEWS: would you care to eleborate on that?
*tsreknor* i mean the time i accused you of tag teaming with fusion. total misunderstandin on my part...but if folks are mad at me just because i'm TGFT, they're hiding it very well. i don't sense it
UIT ACTION NEWS: (chuckles) oh...yes I recall that, these things happen...no harm no foul and all that
*tsreknor* and as for SKY specifically, i hardly ever see them

UIT ACTION NEWS: speaking personally there are many members of TGFT I have no problem with, you included. though there are some that I dislike...do you think that this is to blame? that certain pilots have issue with a few pilots and project the anger on the guild as a whole?
*tsreknor* maybe. i have even started warming up to some of the rats lately. have cooled off some since my n00b days

*tsreknor* agree. i personally like vskye, ret, even peytros wish no ill to any of them, but of course business is business
UIT ACTION NEWS: ok...last question, as a member of the largest trade do you have any advice for new traders not familiar with trading in general?
*tsreknor* i would say keep good price records & look for items sold at one station but not at another. before i was in TGFT, i did pretty well just by being well organized & i personally have no prob passing out trade advice to anyone i think is basically peaceful
