Nexus 5 / Android 4.4.2 Crash

Jan 14, 2014 Ovencleaner link
Hi, Just getting back into VO and decided to try it on my phone. Brand new Nexus 5 running stock android (no custom image/rom/etc) that comes with the phone updated a single time (from 4.4.1 to 4.4.2)

The tutorial works great, so does the free play mode. However, immediately after I login online the game crashes. Same thing happens in compatibility mode.

Any suggestions or things I could do to help debug the problem?

I have now traced the bug back to one specific cause: having the mobile hotspot turned on. Game logs in fine without it.

Confirmed: I get the same crash on my Nexus 5.
