Serco "cultural exchange" special project; duty report.
Mid February, 4433

Personal note;

It's been a while since my last report. This special assignment has made it difficult to contact IDF commanders and lieutenants. Sercos do not take kindly the presence of an IDF trooper within their space, let alone within their base. As predicted by some, it was a harsh time to gain the acceptance of their automated strike forces. Once they finally cut me some loose, I had to deal with total non-acceptance of the population and, most particularly, Serco pilots. From what I've noticed, even the Serco Armed Forces is disbanded and while some might see this with optimism, I've only noticed an even more tightened air space. Perhaps this news has reached Itan already.

To prove my vallor to the authorities, I have downed more than two thousands unaligned droids in their space. If one thing is to remember in this, it's that Sercos are as plagued as we are from these awry robots. This major cleanup has made me respected in their bases, and now, even station guards defend my ship. I never thought I'd think this, but it looks as though there's a possibility, maybe just faint, that Sercos and Itanis could reunite some day. But not this century I'm afraid. Too much work needs to be done to even be accepted as an Itani close to their systems. Let alone an entire nation. Hopefully I wont be court martialed for even saying this. I leave it up to commanders and the politicians to engage in further talks. Assuming they're not already under way.

Meanwhile, I've really gained acceptance in their space. Pilots are still weary of seeing an IDF trooper openly walk among their hangars. But I would say I'm respected now, even admired I'd say. I've gained access to their inventories. Even their ships. I've seen, for the first time, a real Serco Vulture Guardian. It looks a lot like our own Vultures, unsurprisingly. I have yet to try one. I simply didn't have time for that yet. When news was reported of my two thousandth robot kill, I was immediately shown what my assignment called me there for. I must say I was ecstatic.

Note to IDF Cromwell squadron, Council Do Ramius, Council Noduic;

Dear councils,

The objective has been reached. I have now access to the Serco Prometheus heavy ship. Not only that, but another version dubbed MkII. They are heavy. Mainly a huge engine and a seat up front, all encased in a thick purified xirith alloy. It's big and bulky, but these engines could move space stations. The ugly bird handles like a Hornet, and packs formidable firepower if you give it two Neutron blasters MkIII and a Mega Positron blaster. The Valkyries, all designs, are no match for the Serco Proms. We need to balance this soon. I fear the Itanis are at great risk because of this firepower unbalance.

These Prometheus can take a lot of heat. As much as our heavy Rags can. It's amazing these things can actually maneuver as they do. I will attempt to bring as many as I can back to Jallik so that maybe the ship designers can reverse-engineer them and adapt their armory to the Valks. perhaps even the thrusters.

Hopefully, I'll succeed.
