Guilds
Union of the Saving Darkness in the Stars - [USDS]"Union of the Saving Darkness in the Stars" is a guild with a peculiar philosophy and belief, one in which we are those who wander as a simple dark dot on the stars, we are like the darkness that never ends, we believe in darkness as the beginning and end of everything, and also the end of that which surrounds the entire universe. We are neutral and we do all kinds of things, we do not cling to anything specific nor do we really hate anyone, we seek to expand ourselves as simple darkness that covers the light, We don't kill innocent souls or play dirty tricks. The guild, as the principle of its name indicates, is a union that intertwines everyone who freely wishes to be part of this, in order to bring a silence and dark stain more on the light of the stars. The guild is also a accident, one that if the conditions were not met would not exist but nevertheless here we are as something that grows more and more. Our order is to move forward and bring good to the universe, because even if we ceased to exist, our legacy would remain in the vast darkness that surrounds the universe. We just watch and adapt to be part of everything that others have done and will do until then. You can think what you want, but we won't change the fact that we are a union...The Union of the Saving Darkness in the Stars!
USDS Rules of Engagement (ROE) & Conduct
Purpose: Protect the lanes, respect non-combatants, defeat declared threats. Judge by conduct, not tag color.
--1) Core Rules--Protect Lanes. Prioritize the safety of traders, miners, and rookies in transit.Respect Non-Combatants. Do not initiate on players who are trading, mining, docking, or clearly learning—unless they declare hostile intent.Fight Declared Threats. Engage pirates, escorts of hostile ops, and anyone who fires first or openly declares against us.Confirm the Target First. Always make positive identification (clear hostile behavior or declaration) before firing.Proportional Response. Match the threat; don’t escalate to harassment or griefing. Break contact when the objective is met.Accountability After. Own outcomes. If you make a bad call, say it, fix it, move on.Color Tag ≠ Flag. USDS “neutral” means the guild tag doesn’t dictate allegiance—pilots own their conduct. Do not kill on sight by tag color alone.Standings & Optics. Keep nation standings healthy; avoid needless NFZ violations and newbie hubs for fights.
--2) Identification & Examples--Hostile (green light):• Shoots first at USDS/escorted target • Escorts an active hostile op • Issues explicit hostile declaration • Repeated interdictions/ransoms on the same traderNon-hostile (weapons tight):• Rookie practicing • Trader/miner passing through • Player disengaging or complying • UIT with no hostile acts
--3) Engagement Triggers (quick check)--Engage if: they fire first, escort a hostile op, block lanes, or declare hostile.Hold fire if: they’re trading, new, complying, or not interfering.De-escalate after: ransom paid, warning acknowledged, or objective achieved.
--4) Communications Standard (keep it professional)--Warn first when feasible: “USDS patrol—identify intent. Halt for scan.”Call targets by behavior, not color: “Hostile declared / fired first—engaging.”After-action tone: “GF. Lanes clear. Rookies ping for escort.”
--5) New Player & Civilian Care--Offer brief guidance if you down a rookie who didn’t understand.Never camp spawns/undocks. Move the fight if civilians are getting caught.
--6) Conflicts of Interest--If a personal vendetta would pull you off mission, disengage or ask for a relief pilot. If USDS directives ever conflict with these values, you may move on—no drama needed.
--7) Enforcement & Reporting--Save evidence (short clip/screenshot) for disputes.First issue: quiet correction. Repeat issues: ROE reminder + leadership review.
