you have no web site.

also, does your guild actually do anything? or is it just like 97% of the other guilds? existing to take up space.

They had a website that worked last night, but I guess it's disabled now.

It sounded like they were interested in training n00bs - a worthy cause if it actually happens.

This belongs in the RP forum [moved].

They need a website if they want to go anywhere. The website they had up yesterday wasn't good enough either. They need a discussion forum where people can interact.

Training pilots to be n00bs?! N00bs don't need training--they're n00bs because of their lack of training!

We are getting there, the guild was made in a rush and we are slowing down alot to make sure its not just some random guild, Give us time and TNF will become what it stands for, Helping noobs stop being noobs.

I would assume the leaders of this organization are experienced players and not just a group of newbies who felt like starting a new guild?

You would be assuming wrong, assuming you were assuming of course of course.
Apr 03, 2008 FatStrat85 link
Yes, moldyman. I assume that is an accurate assumption, assuming that you too are assuming.

I assume... err, nevermind

odd assumptions...I would assume that the leaders of the guild would be ultimate n00bs?

Else how would you turn newbs into n00bs?
Apr 04, 2008 Shadoen link
With teh n00b machine!

Else how would you turn newbs into n00bs?

Well, you could have them join [SCAR] or [ITAN].

The worry is that this will discourage newbs (new players as opposed to n00bs, ie players who act like new players) from using the mentor system. The mentor system is a good idea with the small player base we have as an experienced player guides someone new, rather than the blind leading the blind.

Secondly, TNF encourage cheating to accelerate new players' licenses by bringing them to grey space and equipping them with ships and weapons beyond their experience. They cheat by allowing themselves to be killed 50 times and to kill 50 times (something proposed by Daggers on channel 100). By doing so, they are not teaching people how to play the game - and enjoy it - but how to beat the system.

I originally supported them as the older guilds seem atrophied but now I believe that TNF are anti-Vo.

Buying better equipment in grey space isn't and can't be considered cheating, not even an exploit.

Merlynson, if that's the case, then I'm not surprised. Their leader comes from WoW, which is all about "breaking" the system.
