So after the fiasco last week, I decided that maybe hosting NW is a good thing for TheLaZyDJ to be doing.
Vendetta-OnAir isn't dead so much as I don't have the time it really needs and would like help from a couple other people when I do start it back up.

But the purpose of me making TheLaZyDJ was to have someone neutral as far as RP goes to host the station so it's not like its a Itani or Serco or guild owned station. So he has never participated in CtC, Deneb Skirms, or NW. But that may make him a good host.

So If there are no major objections I'm going to host NW this week and we will see how it goes. I will not be fighting, however I will not be in a bus... or maybe I will be in a bus.., I know it's hard to understand rules sometimes.

I will start the prize money at 10mil plus 5mil from FAMY that they gave me for events awhile back.
So as the prize stands it is 15mil, feel free to donate... although I understand if you dont. ;)

I am going to keep the format as it was introduced last week with no grey team or ship restrictions. Feel free to complain about it below. Time will also be the same.

Basic Rules:
Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
Participants must be on their nation's team.
You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in a bus.
No running from the asteroid field.
The last team standing wins.

Cool. If you meet me ingame sometime before the NW, I'll send you the 30 million I stole, lol.

Well, if people are trying to pay to influence a "group" event to suit themselves then that's really messed up. Kinda reminds me of teams making NAP's during the NW and we all know how people felt about that. Furthermore, I think 5M is a little low for a "bribe." You really think a PAliban (whatever that is) would really be "persuaded" by a measly 5m?!?!?!?

Now for a main point. Nation War, when broken down uses two words. The second word is War which of course we hopefully know what that means but some are obviously having problems with the meaning of the first word. The first word is Nation. There are 3 Nations that players can join. Having a "grey" "team" does not make it a "grey" Nation. There is no grey Nation and as such there should be no grey team in NW.

You have to remember that your objections to fighting amonst non-grey participants is shared by non-grey participants fighting alongside you. You really think some trader or miner that got ZOMGWTFPWND then repeatedly reminded of the experience really enjoys the fact that you are on their team? NO! And they don't say anything. In fact, they actually totally put up with it and ENJOY the NW as it should be. So, why can't you?
