I'm sure a list like this has already been made, but there's no harm in another one.
What are your favorite ship loadouts?
Mine was a CorvVult with x2 AAP or LENB or 1 of both, due to the thin frame and superior maneuverability. II have always used an Xbox 360 controller to play VO. I got used to it on mobile and I continue to use it on PC. The analog sticks are quite intuitive and reactive in the heat of the moment, and maneuverability and the ability to strafe while being aggressive seems easier with this setup.
My very recent favorite is an X-1 Valk variant with triple LENB. It is brutal, I got 21 wins in a row last night with it.Go ahead and list yours, and explain why you like that setup.
I promise not to feed the trolls this time.

x1 + widowmaker + addon scanner + cargo scanner + UC
Extraordinarily nimble, deadly and allows you to know what you are dealing with before you engage.

light: SVG w/ fletchette mkII + Gauss mkIII (separate triggers)
med: CorMaud w/ triple-suns
heavy: TungTaur w/ Jack/Sun + Hive Queen Gatt

Corvult with 2x Gauss Cannon MkIII and an FC. I generally prefer the FC to the UC for its superior jump speed. The availability is also nice. The two Gauss Cannon make it heavy though, and it's only effective if you're not afraid to get up close to people.
I also enjoy a Centaur with two Jackhammers and a Gauss Cannon. I really do not care for Sunflares, but Jackhammers have a lower delay, more bang, and more ammo. That low delay combined with two tubes means you can fire a series of rockets very rapidly. It's a good ship for cracking proms, although it's kind of a sitting duck once the rockets have been unloaded.
Sometimes it is fun to use ships with dual Plasma Annihilators, but those have absolutely ridiculous drain. I use a heavy cell with those loadouts so that I can at least get a good burst fired before I run outta juice. This is a loadout I only use for fun, not effectiveness. It is not effective, though if you catch somebody by surprise with it they do die pretty quick.
In all-weapons-permitted bus-wars, I like Advanced Rails. They're wonderful for stealing kills.

Gauss cannons are a little too heavy for my liking. Seriously, valks are way overused in the game. In my honest, humble opinion, if you only fly valks, you have yet to prove your worth in pvp.
For me, corvus widowmakers all the way. Sometimes on corvults/revCs, I'd be in mood for 2x ravens or 2x lenbs. Almost always UCs, unless I'm in a hound, then FCs have the jump advantage.

Dual gauss Corvult
Dual AAP RevC
Dual sunflare/Hive gat SCP
Hopefully soon I can pilot a valk and see what those things are about. I hear good things.

Joyless, I understand. Yesterday was my first time flying a valk..... Ever. I Dev switched to Itani a month ago and just got around to fixing my standimg
And Darth, Valks are OP. Good armor, great maneuverability, 3 small ports. The X-1 is pretty godlike, and probably should be nerfed
Well, I did kill an EP-piloted X1 in an SCP
haha
haha
Actually, IDFs have better stats than X-1s, plus they are cheaper. Most of the time I use IDFs for the slight edge in maneuverability. The only advantage X-1s have over IDFs is the flattened profile, which may mean fewer hits in the long run depending on how good of a dodger you are.
Atlas Type X, Sunflare + Avalon, Gemini turret and CrazySpence as my gunner!
This has been hilariously effective against numerous and vastly different opponents, regardless if I'm flying in reverse or actually going forwards.

Not me? ; ;
Anyway:
Mega Goliath Rag Cannon
Tri-flare cormaud
Corvult/SVG with duel neut 2
Obvious SCP load out
Corvult/SVG with 1 neut and 1 gauss (this is a fun little cheese ship)
Hog 4 with gat and sunnie
Hog 2/3/4 with neut and mega posi
You could say I like a lot of ships :D

Well Darth the SCP is a fucking tank, and EP is always an in your face fighter, so I can imagine that would be a difficult fight for him.
Sorry Kopia, but Spence has been more effective as a gunner than you :P
And Galanoth: Everytime I fought EP he was the opposite of an in-your-face fighter

Well I suppose it depends on who he is fighting. He gets cocky with lesser beings (not vets)
I saved one flare for like 5 minutes. He thought I was out. He swooped in close and was about to get the kill on me, then I let it go. That was probably one of the best fights that I've ever had.
That sounds intense Darth, nice one saving the flare. I use energy only because my hyper ass lets them all go once I see an opening
How does one become better at gunner
Vult3:2x Neuts + Heavy Cell
Hog2: 1 Neut, 1 MegaPosi + Heavy Cell
Rag: Geminix3 + Locustx2 + Heavy Cell
The Hog2 Combi is a good piece of BS

"Dancing Shoes" = RevC w/ UC + dual Hive Posi's . Primary = both, secondary = w/cfire
"Boxing Gloves" = Corvult w/UC + Dual Gauss III's . Primary = Left, Secondary = Right
"Blood in the Saddle" = Tung Taur w/UC, Queen Gat, Jackhammer, Sunflare.
"Manticore" = CorMaud w/UC, Dual Sunflares + Raven.
"The Hog of Annihilation"= WTD w/UC, Plasma Annihilator (primary) + Gauss III (Secondary)
On the rare occasion I fly a Valk:
"Positive Reinforcement" X-1 w/UC, 3x Hive Posis.
