Vendetta does -not- work on BeOS

Then you have a problem. I ran it on a 300Mhz P2 with a 4M video card and 64M of RAM. With all the settings turned down, it was no problem. But that was way back at the beginning, maybe it's more demanding now.

This, like, stinks. It doesn't work using the native BeOS, and it doesn't work in X11R6 for BeOS. :(

What about Amiga OS?

Ok, this may alienate a potential worldwide clientele of: 3.

It doesn't work on NetBSD installed on my microwave either.

Oh, but I got it working on my calculator!

Yeah. Right.

Anybody actually got a PC-emulator on his PDA, and then run vendetta on it? That would be like... slide-show.... 0.01 FPS or something.

<newbie> don't kill me! I'm running this on my pda!

No, but I bet I could compile Bochs for XScale. There's a new Palm-based PDA with an ATI graphics chip in it, that one would be good for Vendetta I bet, and there's already a 320x200 mode in DirectX...

it better have at least 4mb VRAM

Would vendetta run in bochs?

How bout someone getting it going on an iPaq... that would be fun.. driving with a touch screen.. 400Mhz processor? You can run linux on them pretty nicely..

Either vendetta or bzflag would be nice on an iPaq?

BZFlag is the safer bet, being that you can turn down the settings a lot.

Vendetta would work if it was running in bochs and somebody installed a proper opengl library. I'm pretty sure that the 320x200 mode of Vendetta fits, in landscape mode. :P

"BZFlag is the safer bet, being that you can turn down the settings a lot."
BZFlag is extremely slow on a 500 mHz P3 with a 8 MB video card and 256MB of RAM. Thats with all the setting turned down, I don't think it would be a very enjoyable time playing it on a pocket PC.

It also doesn't run on Windows 3.x or my old Apple ][ e.

Aye, it needs a new driver set for my Acorn A3000.

Runs fine on my Apple \\c, must be the extra 32k of ram...

Can't get it going on my TRS-80 Model 100 portable or my Timex Sinclare though.

I thought this was cross platform?

An Acorn Dave? I think I saw an Acorn Atom once, do you really have one?
