problems loging in, and changing "locations"

Hello,
I am new to the game. I am running on windows 7 (updated), good hardware, and a fresh install (reinstalled already to test that). I have dissabled and shut down ALL network security to exclude that possibility. I have checked for and enabled administrative rights for the game folder and game exe.
I have also run a packet loss test, seems good.

My problems seem intermittent. These problems do not happen EVERY time I play. but they do happen so often that I have only actualy played a handful of times. My fist log in I didnt have any troubles. after that tho. I started noticing more than one thing going wrong.

in no particular order...

One thing I find strange is that it takes aprox. 2 minutes to launch the game updater on my SSD hard drive that can launch much larger games in 30 seconds, just seemed out of place.

-at log in, the game might get stuck on one of the loading screens such as "connecting to server", "loading characters", "entering universe", and "entering station"

-Then other times when I was able to log in and fly around. when I would change location such as entering a space station, or jumping to another system, I would experiance a loss of my ship UI elements. I still had chat visible and could chat. but my ship or my space station screen would not appear. only the static star background was visible until I restarted the client.

Do you think this is a network problem?

I play rust, and rising storm 2:vietnam, as well as survarium without any problems. 90ms avg ping to US servers.
My ISP is not the best but not the worst.
I get my internet through g4 hotspot for my computer. has good connection.

Help would be appreciated, I like the look of the game!

So, based on our ticket conversations, it sounds like using:

Options -> Advanced -> Network -> MTU compatibility mode

Has helped in this case, along with your disabling IPV6 service somehow. This was for a person tethering onto the Verizon cell network from the rural US.

after further testing I think I can narrow the fix down to just the MTU compatibility mode. I got it to work with or without IPv6.
Thanks for your help. I am in game and having fun learning my way around.
