Who are the Guides?
One point of the recent discussions about the Guides was that not all players know who all the Guides are, so I thought I'd post a list of the ones I know. No doubt this list is incomplete & inaccurate, but it's a start, and corrections are welcome.
Each Guide is listed on a seperate line. Some Guides use multiple usernames, either in-game or on these message boards. In-game names are in italics, and message board names are underlined. Names that belong to Guides, but are not used in the capacity of being a guide are in subscript.

It was indeed one of my earler points in that thread that I didn't know who all the guides are. However, in my later post to that same thread, I am trying to render knowing who is and isn't a guide as irrelevent, by asking the guides to adopt a policy of clearifing if they are communicating as a guide, or as a player. I have not yet recieved a response from the guides on this issue, but I am hopefull that they will devise or adopt a suitable solution to this issue. Hopefully one that renders the need of knowing who is and isn't a guide as obsolete.
Perhaps we can suspend this thread for the moment, and give the guides some time to decide what they would like to do.

TRS, what about when someone has a question about the game, some strange anomoly occurs, a newb needs some help, etc, etc. Then, that person would need to know who the guides are.
Anyway, just to help out the FM keep things organized, maybe we should keep this thread to its original purpose. I'm sure the guides will answer your concerns in your thread.

Just to clarify:
My Whistler character IS a player character, and I do not use guide commands with that character.
I use a few other guide characters that some old-timers would recognize, but I mostly use them to lurk now that I am able to take Sherpa anywhere without upsetting the local defense bots.
Bear in mind that a character name can be approximated. If you are going on name alone, you could be fooled if you are not vigilant.
