Now it is fixed! Look at your time zone to see the right time till 11pm central.

11hours to go. w00ty!

guys.... wouldn't it always come out at the same time, everywhere? So there is no need fo a differnet countdown clock for each? If it comes out at 10pm eastern, it will happen at the same time everwhere else, just at at a differnet h/m/s. NO need to count down to 10 pm for every time zone.

Apr 18, 2003 Pyro link
Yeah, but it uses your computer's clock. If you're pacific, it'll be three hours behind eastern...
Apr 18, 2003 ctishman link
... which means that, unless the earth has suddenly decided to reverse its spin, something's wrong with his countdowns.
Apr 18, 2003 StarFreeze link
the countdowns are all correct...just look for the one that corresponds to your location...the other 3 will be off.
Apr 18, 2003 ctishman link
No, what I mean is that Eastern is 3 hours behind Pacific, when it should be 3 hours ahead.

umm, Genin, its correct as it is.

sf your clock is all wrong......

If the release is coming out at 11 Central (I am EST, one hour ahead), it should be 5:30 hours for everyone. How come people on the West Coast get the update 3 hours earlier? How does that work? You need an ABSOLUTE countdown timer. Not relative to each timezone....

BTW 5:30 hours

My name is Pyro, and I'm a Vendettaholic.
I became addicted to this game when someone posted about it on the ASW forums... I play whenever I get the chance, and don't do much else...

camps...read what i said...look at ur time ONLY...the rest will be screwed up. and it is impossible to have an absolute unless u can get a script that is server based and see the problem with that is that would require me to code that. Not only that but some how figure out how to get the server's current time.
Apr 18, 2003 ctishman link
...either that or make it not bother with remote time at all, and simply count down from one given time to another.

I'll laugh if 3.2 doesn't come out after everyone has spent their money :p
Apr 18, 2003 SirCamps link
But according to SF, that's dependent on your timezone! Answer: It is not dependent on timezone. In 3 real hours (174 minutes), it will be the presumed time for the update.

yeah, like getting money is hard to do
Apr 18, 2003 sinclair44 link
Corrrect me if I'm wrong, but the issue with StarFreeze's clocks is that they're based off YOUR clock on YOUR computer, but are couting down to a FIXED point. It should be accurate if you look at the same counter as you have your clock's time set to.

And getting money may be easy, but it would still be funny.
