I'm not fond of the model per say but it does look nice and is well drawn.

I am still working on my submission and will get it done. :) It is a suggested replacement for the Serco govbus.

Well, starting from scratch (i.e. learning Blender), this took a week and a half (all of it) and I am quite happy with it. :)

It really is a shame more people did not enter though... The Manta One must have scared them off, lol.

I would have entered, but the deadline was set right during finals for me. So too bad.

Hehe, I understand that. This would be almost finals time for me the last 4 years, but I am in grad school now and the semester ended 2 weeks ago. :)

The manta is really beautiful, excellent job. I think it deserves first place for all the effort put into it. :P

Here is the Harrier:

A medium fighter with oversized engines, the BioCom Harrier was created to protect convoys as they moved through the seedier regions of 'grey space.' The Harrier has an armored cockpit, a front-mount for a small gun, and a belly mount for a larger weapon, such as a turret. Its wings are armored devices, and can be used offensively if the Harrier comes into extremely close combat with another ship. With a max speed of 80 meters per second, the Harrier can execute quick combat maneuvers, and when its oversized turbo engines are engaged, the Harrier can reach speeds approaching 250 meters per second, if only for a period of time.

Today is the deadline!! I encourage all participants to reread the rules, as some of the entries are not formatted correctly. While I'm generally not a stickler on rules, I am also not going to do all the extra work for you, so please reread rule 1.5:

1.5 Each design should be a png or jpg with the name of the craft, a date and designers name on the image.

Any current entries that don't have a name on the image, please fix them, because Im not doing it for you.

hmm youre right. it only looks like a manta from the top tho. i originally wanted to make the sides more concave but that caused problems in the mesh, so i settled for this.

So.... what happened to this?

Hardly anyone entered, and no one could manage to put their names on their work, so I cancelled it.
