Oh My God, He Wrote A Newspost

yeah.. a word about your news from one of your latest subscribers (aka newbie):

Your newsposts all start with "Sorry, it has been a while" and when I read on.. hey, there is "just" a month of nothing. What is a month?

I mean.. if this would be StarWars you'd start with "In a galaxie far far away". Is "Sorry, it has been a while" becoming the VO-recognize-scentence?

From my point of view I am _happy_ that you get such detailled (and funny to read) news at least once in two months ready. I played other online games where you could just read "new staffmember" once in a long while and not much more. (Most news and rumors go over the bbs anyway).

My 2 cents

Shut the Hell up, bekoli. I don't want you assuaging their guilt--it's healthier for them, but also demotivating. We want them sacrificing health, wealth, family, and alternative career prospects to bring us newsposts and VO generally. And you're not helping!

Don't mind lecter, bekoli, he's "Special". Thanks for your feedback. We're a lot more communicative than most companies, and our userbase has higher expectations as part of that. I also don't write the newspost in-universe-context.. I have occasionally done so in the past, but for the most part it's used as a "development blog" more than anything. We have an (underutilized) in-game news system that's intended for more in-context posts.

I used to write newsposts weekly, which is part of why the current cycle seems a bit "long" to me (and some other veteran players).

Anyway, I'm going to lock this thread, I think we've covered this for now. Hopefully I'll be making another newspost before long.
