That idea has a lot of merit. My only cavil would be that since money does not mean all that much it would be hard to set a price too high to keep pirates from over using them for any attack, even a bus. Perhaps making a mission tree that allows the pirate to “fabricate” them, much like a widowmaker would place more realistic limits on their use.

A small port version might be feasible as well though with reduced thrust and damage. Damage and thrust numbers are dependent, of course, on testing should this ever come to pass.
